Succession Readiness India.
Know exactly where you stand.
Succession planning is often only considered in the context of a sale or exit. This assessment takes a broader view — leadership continuity planning for any scenario, planned or unplanned, in which a key leader steps back from their role.

This assessment evaluates succession readiness across four dimensions: role criticality mapping (which roles would most disrupt the business if vacated suddenly), successor identification (whether a credible internal or external successor is identified for each critical role), knowledge transfer (how much critical knowledge and relationship equity is documented versus held only by the current role-holder), and transition process (whether there's a defined process for handling both planned and unplanned transitions).
Unplanned leadership transitions — triggered by health events, unexpected departures, or simple retirement timing — are significantly more disruptive when there's no succession plan in place, and this risk compounds with how concentrated critical knowledge and relationships are in specific individuals. Planning for this proactively, rather than reactively when a transition is already underway, materially reduces both the disruption and the risk of losing the departing leader's accumulated relationships and knowledge.
Scored across 5 critical dimensions.
Role criticality mapping — which roles would most disrupt the business if suddenly vacated
Successor identification — credible internal or external candidates identified for critical roles
Knowledge transfer — documented vs. held only by the current role-holder
Transition process — defined process for both planned and unplanned transitions
Relationship transferability — whether key external relationships can transfer to a successor
Three outcome ranges — each with a clear next action.
75–100
Succession-ready
Continuity planning is strong across critical roles. IBEAN's advisory focuses on ongoing successor development.
45–74
Partial coverage
Some critical roles have succession coverage, others don't. IBEAN prioritises the highest-risk gaps.
0–44
Significant exposure
Most critical roles lack identified successors or knowledge transfer plans. IBEAN's Succession Advisory builds the continuity plan from role criticality up.
Diagnosis first. Then a scoped advisory plan.
IBEAN's Succession Readiness Assessment maps which roles carry the highest disruption risk if vacated suddenly, and builds the successor identification and knowledge-transfer plan needed to make any transition — planned or not — significantly less disruptive.
